Deichmann is Europe’s biggest shoe retailer.

At over 100 years old, the brand has stores in 24 countries across the globe. The brand celebrated its 10th anniversary in the UK in 2011 and now has 90 shops nationwide. Its UK flagships are in Westfield London and Westfield Stratford.

Over the years, Deichmann has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood to deliver A-List style to people’s feet. Previous collaboration collections have been designed by celebrities including Halle Berry and Cindy Crawford.

As a company, Deichmann strives to marry fashion with quality and affordability, using a convenient ‘rack-room’ (help yourself) style shop layout to keep its margins low and pass the savings onto the customer.

The store in Sutton is the 88th store and is creating 17 new permanent jobs, including two supervisor positions.

Like its counterparts, the Sutton store will benefit from a simple, customer friendly product presentation where all sizes of a particular style are available on the shop floor. This way, customers can easily locate and try on the style and size of their choice.
